WARREN P. SEWELL MEMORIAL LIBRARY

To better serve its community, the Warren P. Sewell Memorial Library underwent a complete overhaul - adding 5,000 square feet of airy, light-filled space. THE roof IS SCULPTED to capture soft northern daylight while using a perforated steel screen to shield collections from southern sun. Inside, reading nooks, computer labs, and meeting rooms are anchored by custom steel fixtures and caster-mounted wooden shelves, paying tribute to the town’s rich industrial and railroad history.
